What to include

  • Product name and version.
  • Phone, tablet, or browser and operating-system version.
  • What you expected to happen.
  • What actually happened.
  • The shortest sequence of steps that reproduces it.

Screenshots and recordings

Attach them when they explain the behavior. Remove personal photos, names, OCR text, notifications, account details, and other sensitive information first.

Performance reports

For performance-sensitive products such as Echo, include the selected mode or feature, approximate workload, displayed estimate if any, actual duration, battery state, and whether the device became unusually hot.

Privacy or account requests

Use the dedicated privacy guidance or account/data deletion route rather than attaching unnecessary account information to a normal support report.
