Account & local data

Delete the right data through the right route.

Local-first apps and account-based products remove data differently. Start with the product type below and send only the information needed to identify the request.

Apps without an account

Local-first apps may store settings, indexes, history, or caches on the device. Depending on the product, app-local data can be removed through an in-app reset, Android Settings → Storage → Clear data, or uninstalling the app.

Products with an account

For an account-based Natsu Labs product, email from the address associated with the account when possible. Include the product name and clearly state that you are requesting account deletion.

Natsu Labs may request reasonable ownership verification. Do not send a password or one-time code.

Original device files

Clearing an app's local index or cache should not intentionally delete original gallery files unless a feature explicitly states that it will. Review destructive-action confirmations before proceeding.

What to include in a request

  • Product name.
  • The account email, if the product uses accounts.
  • A clear request to delete the account or associated data.
  • Only additional information needed to identify the account.
