Rebuilding the Natsu Labs site around the work that matters now

Website v2 is being rebuilt page by page so Kodari, Acadence, client work, and Kurt’s engineering evidence finally have the hierarchy they need.

The old site had outgrown its hierarchy

The earlier Natsu Labs site had real projects and useful technical detail, but it treated too much of the work as equally important. Echo, PixSense, older experiments, website concepts, certificates, and newer products were competing for the same attention.

Website v2 changes that hierarchy without pretending the studio is larger than it is. Kodari and Acadence lead. Echo and Prima POS support the engineering story. Older work stays available when it still demonstrates something useful.

Page by page instead of one giant redesign

The rebuild is intentionally sequential: Homepage, Products & Work, Kodari, Acadence, Services, Kurt’s portfolio, About, and now this Build Log. Each page is audited, rebuilt, responsive-hardened, and checked before the next one becomes the focus.

That slower approach has also kept the implementation small. The site remains static on Firebase Hosting, uses system fonts, shares a lightweight v2 CSS/JavaScript foundation, and avoids adding a framework just to make the redesign feel modern.

Why add a Build Log now

A portfolio can show what exists, but it becomes stale if visitors cannot see what is changing. This log is a place for release work, engineering decisions, product changes, and lessons that are worth keeping after a social post disappears from a feed.

It is intentionally a simple static archive. There is no CMS, comment system, fake publication schedule, or pressure to post for the sake of looking active. New entries should exist because there is something useful to record.
